Why Don’t We Think About the Oceans?

Ezekiel 33:6: “But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.” Let the reader understand this warning.

Revelation 16:3:  Then the second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it became blood as of a dead man; and every living creature in the sea died.

Consider the desolation of this imagery. Now consider the possibility that the destruction of the oceans might be man-made. Has everyone in this whole world completely lost their collective minds? If we’ve all been reduced to only being concerned with what the next revelation of the Epstein files or what is about to be revealed in the Erika Kirk/J.D. Vance affair, then we might well deserve the dismal fate that awaits us and indeed, that awaits mankind. Folkpotpourri has addressed this on more than one occasion, but with the scant readership this site gets, word of this is unlikely to get out from here, nevertheless, surprisingly few seem to be aware of these warnings of a looming disaster that is (currently) gathering off the coast of Venezuela and I’m not talking about some impending regime change or oil theft war that might happen and be over in short order. There doesn’t seem to be much concern about it anywhere else either. If this thing gets out of hand, think about the number of Fukushima and Chernobyl size disasters that might result on the floor of the Caribbean ocean. American ships that can be sunk by Chinese missiles with obliterated nuclear reactors strewn across miles and miles of Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico waters (spewing poisons) and thus shorelines to eradicate any possible life-sustaining fishing or other activities for the next several hundred – maybe thousands of – years.

If the world survives some conflict in the Caribbean, but even a few nuclear-powered vessels are sunk by modern Chinese missiles that have been developed by highly capable scientists and engineers (while American R&D folks are only busy trying to siphon money off the taxpayers instead of developing air defenses capable of challenging new Chinese technology), the completely surprised American defense establishment might suddenly find themselves losing assets to systems that can efficiently destroy American ships, how will our leaders undertake to contain the nuclear contamination damage that will inevitably result? Will they even recognize that such a catastrophe has occurred? The propaganda establishment will no doubt go into overdrive trying to minimize any publicity of such devastation, but that won’t bring back fish or whales.

Imagine vast tracts of Venezuelan beaches, lands adjacent to the sea, and fishing waters rendered unusable as poisons leach out of the wreckage of ship reactors (and weapons) decades from now. The actors who so thoughtlessly brought such devastation will no doubt be long gone, but if any hapless survivors would dare to try and make use of the coastlands once abundant with life and life-sustaining resources, they would soon find it suicidal to even go there. In the highly unlikely event that there might possibly be survivors in some future dystopian nightmare world, they would no doubt spend what might be left of their short lives wondering what “leaders” in the 21st century were thinking. Could they not see what might become the result of such an obvious threat? Where were the populations and why did they allow this? Why, they were too enthralled over Donald Trump insanity (on all sides) to worry about such mundane things as the careless destruction of our environment.

If the truth was known and wisely promulgated throughout society, naval battles are and have been rendered insanely reckless with the advent of nuclear-powered vessels. Nuclear power might be (somewhat) safely managed on civilian vessels like icebreakers and even container ships, but to send nuclear powered war vessels into battle is absolutely one of the most irresponsible decisions any Admiral or national leader could make. Any war in which several ships with nuclear reactors and weapons are sunk will result in irrecoverable harm to vast areas of the oceans – maybe the entirety of our oceans – and the life therein.

An even greater danger is that when this war goes hot and other superpowers get involved, there will be nuclear-powered vessels sunk in all the oceans of the earth, not just off Venezuela. If some of the ill-advised leaders who currently control the buttons of nuclear destruction get their way, if they continue to push a catastrophic war that goes nuclear, most of the lands of the earth will certainly be rendered toxic for many years, but the oceans and the food chains they provide and support will be contaminated with nuclear poisons, ensuring that the sea will not offer any relief in the way of foodstuffs if there are survivors.

Mankind has had opportunity to abandon our proclivity for wars on more than one occasion – such as at the end of previous world wars – and should have done so long ago. Everyone should read up on the Marine General Smedley Butler who finally concluded that all wars are fought at the behest of the rich man and they doubtlessly are. We’re not all rich men, so why don’t we unrich, who greatly outnumber the rich, join together and say no to their wars and devastation? There are other, infinitely more worthwhile pursuits we could undertake. For instance, we could all be trying to develop desalination technology to try and help sustain the populations of areas currently threatened by water shortages. Places like Iran and the US desert southwest are under extreme water shortage threat, and if a fraction of the financing currently directed to ensuring people can kill each other was instead turned to helping get water to people in need, the world might be able to overcome those water supply problems. There’s plenty of water in our oceans, so why not make the water usable instead of threatening to destroy it with radioactivity? After all, the same greedy corporations who currently build bombs and missiles could turn instead to making their fortunes on water technology. Since they won’t consider making their money helping people, and instead would rather invest in destruction, Satan must truly be in control. What are our leaders thinking?

There are currently eight damaged nuclear-powered subs possibly already – but inevitably will start someday – releasing radiation on the ocean floor and who knows what the future portends just from these? For the sake of our oceans, we must do whatever we can to prevent any more. Any ideas?

Fukushima still pours nuclear radiation into Japanese waters with no end in sight. The US military has effectively destroyed once thriving islands in the Pacific with A Bomb tests. The careless Ukrainians keep launching missiles at the protective dome over the Chernobyl plant, and keep damaging it, so there doesn’t seem to be much concern for the future of humanity, just an unhinged desire to damage “the enemy”.

Please spread this message as far as you can. Make your own posts if need be, but we need to get this concern out there. We all love our oceans and should make it a common concern to try to protect them – and the God-given creatures they sustain.

May the blessings of the Almighty Father find and keep us in our time of need.

Destructive Technology in Incompetent Hands

Early on, Nikita Khruschev ordered up a bomb that would yield 100 megatons. The Soviets had already determined that it was theoretically possible to create a device that could approach a GIGATON yield, but due to the attendant complications including intolerable levels of radiation, they compromised on 100 megatons. Upon further calculations however, it was discovered that any airplane available for delivery back then would not survive such a powerful detonation, even with any and all precautions they might take. Eventually the design of the Tsar Bomba, the name given to this beast, was to be settled to deliver an absolutely unimaginable yield of 50 megatons. For comparison, the biggest nuclear explosion the US ever produced was the Castle Bravo test back in March, 1954 and weighed in at a mere 15 megatons, an incredible explosion of unbelievable destructive power that also left the Bikini Atoll poisoned by radiation and uninhabitable to this day.

Castle Bravo
Tsar Bomba – the mushroom was close to 60 miles across!

Even at 50 Megatons, the airplane which would drop the Soviet weapon was calculated to have only a fifty percent chance of surviving the shock wave which would emanate from the explosion. Such a wave would travel fast enough to overtake the aircraft, even after taking such precautions as deploying a parachute to slow the fall of the bomb as much as possible and allow the plane to get as far as possible from the ground zero before the bomb exploded. The test was indeed conducted and the shock wave overtook the plane as expected, but due to expert piloting and the grace of God, after a fearsome one kilometer drop in altitude, the pilots were able to recover the craft and avoid crashing.

Human beings were never meant to undertake attempting to control nuclear power. Many believe there are beneficial peaceful uses of this phenomenon, but all things considered, nuclear fission and fusion are physical attributes of atomic interactions that would have been better left alone. As with all other scientific “discoveries” nuclear power was first analyzed for it’s potential military use. In other words, the governments had to determine its capacity to kill people, and with atomic bombs, there was a bonanza for militaries. Their concern for the well-being of the environment and the planet was also quite overtly demonstrated by the many atomic bomb tests that followed this remarkable scientific revelation.

Inhabitants of the Bikini Atoll in the south Pacific were relocated to foreign shores with the promise they would be able to return after the testing was completed. In an attempt at fulfillment of the promise, many residents were indeed returned many years later, only to be subsequently removed once again when it was discovered that they accumulated intolerable levels of radiation in their bodies from ecological radioactive contamination. The environment of the atoll had become toxic from long-lasting residual contamination through the food chain.

Nuclear power plants all around the world have “spent” rods sitting in cooling pools. When everyone thought it would be a good idea to harness nuclear power, it seems no one was interested to think it all through and arrive at a plan for nuclear waste disposal, so here we are, and all the time generating more and more waste. To add suspense to our predicament, the Ukranian Army has been trying since the Russians took control of the big nuclear power plant at Zaporizhya to bomb it and cause a nuclear incident that would threaten eastern Europe with radioactive fallout.

The one element of this discussion that frankly should concern homo sapiens, is that by now there are literally hundreds of ships on the oceans that are powered by nuclear reactors. The scary part is that these are almost all military ships. Did we learn anything from Three-Mile-Island; from Chernobyl; from Fukushima? We need to get real folks, because when the missiles and torpedoes start exploding all those nuclear reactors on all those ships, we’re going to render planet earth uninhabitable! If all those gallons of radioactive water leaking into Japanese waters is causing such a stir – and it’s still leaking – what’s going to happen to our oceans and gulfs and bays when the ocean floor is strewn with highly radioactive carcasses of submarines and aircraft carriers? [Revelation 8:10-11]: Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.

Just what if that great star that fell from heaven was the knowledge of atomic power? After all, science holds that the stars are indeed powered by nuclear reactions, so what if that description of a star falling is a metaphor for mankind obtaining the knowledge of controlling nuclear energy, a knowledge we were not meant to possess?

The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists runs what they call the Doomsday Clock, as I’m sure most folks are aware, but it is used to reveal just how close the earth is to a nuclear war, thus our annihilation. The clock is now at some seconds before Armageddon and that means we, being the inhabitants of earth, might only be a few moments from total destruction. Personally, I don’t believe the whole planet will become incinerated, but if I read Revelation 18 correctly, I believe the modern Babylon being described therein is the United States, and that she will be completely destroyed by fire (in one hour). Even if Europe, Africa, and Asia survive, there will be tribulation for everyone going forward until such time as Jesus returns with justice for the rest of the world.

I do not believe mankind was ever intended to wield control of nuclear energy. It was brought about by Satan with the ultimate intention of the destruction of God’s creation. That is after all, where we are headed, but I believe Jesus will intervene before all is destroyed. Mankind is not capable of the wisdom required to be in possession of such destructive power, and it seems as if the least wise of all of us are in the precise positions of power to bring Satan’s plan about. We collectively have too many faults and desires of this world to have such weapons and we have a front row seat to watch as the least capable of all humans have their hands on the button – at least in our own country.

Pray for them, pray that God will give them Divine guidance, or I fear we are in for some seriously bad times ahead.

May the blessings of the Almighty Father find and keep us in these troubled times.

Watching the Stars Fall and Destroy the Earth

Did a star fall from Heaven? If it did, when it hit the earth, did it leave tremendous destruction? Maybe the full effects of its impact have not yet been experienced. All of humanity could be on the precipice of death and destruction never before imagined; deep down many of us harbor an apprehension of such a possibility of scarcely conceivable destruction. From various sources, we have some idea of the coming events, at least for those who bother to look for them, indeed, most folks know there are some terrible things awaiting this old world. The predominant source for understanding of what will probably take place is of course, the Holy Bible. It speaks of a time of tribulation never before experienced by mankind.

Everyone has heard of the medieval times of blights such as the plague and the potato famine. We have all heard of great wars during which there was immense suffering and much death and destruction. Unfortunately, it looks like we are in for even worse times yet. When things come to a head in our modern world, there’s little doubt that some unimaginable wars will occur; there will be nuclear devastation on a scale never imagined leaving a world of horror. Nuclear war is awaiting – the pieces just have to be positioned; the right “leaders” put in place, and it will happen. With the caliber of leaders in the western world today, it’s just a matter of time. There’s mass insanity in the halls of power, and they aren’t even ashamed to put that madness on full display. [Ecclesiastes 10:13]: “The words of his mouth begin with foolishness, And the end of his talk is raving madness”. A wisdom deficit never before imagined in Washington DC, London, Paris, Berlin, etc. threatens the whole world – just as Satan intended.

What’s with the crazy leaders nowadays?

Some of our mad leaders have a nuclear trigger in their hands. That’s a scary thought when you consider the potential for destruction of nuclear power. God has known about nuclear physics since forever ago., in fact He created nuclear physics. That’s the energy that makes stars light up the heavens when you look up at night. Nuclear power. Stars. The Bible speaks of stars falling from the sky to the earth. From what scientists have determined about stars, they are, like the sun, immensely larger than the earth, so how would it be possible for the earth to experience stars falling upon us? Maybe when it says a star falls to the earth, its speaking metaphorically.

Perhaps the great star that fell to earth was a metaphor for when mankind learned how to harness nuclear energy – both for peaceful purposes, but more ominously, the intent of this “star” is to kill mass numbers of people. To destroy the earth that God created along with as many humans as possible. The threat of nuclear war is firmly entrenched now as the most fearsome nightmare of all of humanity. Nuclear technology marked a turning point in all of civilization, and the star hasn’t finished falling just yet. Nuclear waste keeps accumulating as we burn uranium rods in power reactors and really haven’t developed a way to safely dispose of the spent, but still highly radioactive waste. That’s a big problem and is getting bigger all the time, but it pales in comparison to the potential devastation that a nuclear war would leave. In any event, there was more than one star, and it looks like each one has his own contribution to the world’s destruction: When Satan got kicked out of Heaven, [Revelation 12:4]: “His [the dragon’s] tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth…”

The Bible also speaks of a time of great tribulation. [Matther 24:21]: “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.” Such a horrible existence for human beings as has never before occurred. One could easily envision this to be what may be left of humanity after such a horrible event as a nuclear apocalypse. The Palestinians in Gaza are undergoing such a horror today as the world watches. A world which doesn’t even seem to care, at least most of the governments – the entities that could actually do something to stop it, but it’s not happening. Why should this same world be spared the same deprivations that people like the Gazans, or the Christians in the Congo, Syrian Alawites and Christians, etc. are suffering? Yes, many folks in our world are suffering immensely, but those of us who a comparably much better off watch on and do nothing. Why should God show us mercy when it’s our turn? Why shouldn’t we all know what it’s like to be deprived of such things as we now take for granted, like a drink of clean water? Or even a piece of stale, moldy bread for an empty stomach which Netanyahu denies to the peasants of Gaza?

There are indeed many who are in the streets protesting against the inhumane treatment of the Gazans. Good on them, they are heroes in their own right. The heroic Houthis of Yemen and Lebanese Hezbollah fighters are doing what they can, but it’s a tall order against American jets and bombs. Now days, incredibly, instead of helping the suffering Palestinians, Trump is abrogating his Constitutional oath and imprisoning people for speaking out against the injustice in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon. Why would a man so visible as an American president stoop to such pathetic malevolence? Like many others, I’m of the opinion that Israel has some dirt on him from the Epstein files, it’s the best explanation available for his mendacious support of genocide, especially in light of the fact that he is such a narcissistic personality, as such one who would be expected to want adoration from the masses, but his behavior is making everyone except wealthy Zionists hate him. What else could explain it? Other western countries are persecuting Palestine supporters too. How far did the Epstein activity go? Word has it that Epstein was a Mossad operative who lured western big shots into compromising sexual activity with minors and other things precisely to video and blackmail them and get the results we are seeing from our leaders.

It sure looks like the star that fell has many facets and traits. I’m of the opinion that a nuclear war will take out a lot of humanity. [Revelation8:10-11]:“Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. 11 The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.

I did a post some time ago about what it might be like after a nuclear war. Maybe that’s an idea of what the tribulation holds for us. I think somewhere in that post I mentioned that the most fortunate people in a nuclear war will be the ones at ground zero. At least for them it’ll be over quickly.

May the blessings of the Almighty Father find and keep us.
